Leadership

Ashley Zumwalt-Forbes brings over 13 years of expertise in the natural resources industry. Her career includes founding and leading multiple mining ventures, notably as co-founder and president of Black Mountain Metals, focusing on nickel mining, and Co-Founder and Senior Advisor to MAC Copper Limited (NYSE: MTAL and ASX: MAC), a miner that acquired CSA copper mine in Austrial from Glencore PLC in June 2023 and successfully went public via SPAC. Ashley's leadership was recognized when she was named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 in Energy in 2020, 2021 Oil & Gas Investor Forty Under 40, and Top 25 Women in Business in DFW by Dallas Business Journal. She has also served as the U.S. Deputy Director for Batteries and Critical Materials, overseeing the deployment of approximately $6 billion in grants and $10 billion in tax credits into the U.S. battery supply chain.
